JOIN VERDALIA BIOENERGY: Pioneers in Europe’s Energy Transition

Mission

Support the Permit Management Department team with the analysis, monitoring, and organization of the regulatory and technical documentation required for the construction, operation, and commercialization of biomethane plants, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout all phases


Responsabilities

The intern will work in close collaboration with the Deparment Head, carrying out the following key tasks:


  • Analysis of Urban Planning Reports (Informes Urbanísticos): Review and synthesize land-use and planning reports to identify key constraints, opportunities, and requirements for project development.
  • Organization and Maintenance of Databases and Digital Folders: Design, update, and ensure the integrity of databases and digital files containing the department's legal, technical, and administrative documentation (licenses, permits, reports).
  • Analysis of Regulatory and Normative Aspects: Research, analyze, and summarize applicable legislation (national, regional, and local) and technical standards relevant to biomethane plants, including environmental and renewable energy aspects.
  • Support in Reporting and Dashboard Elaboration: Collaborate in the preparation of periodic reports on the status of permits, deadlines, and regulatory risks, and support the creation and maintenance of dashboards for monitoring key departmental indicators.


Requirements

Education: Student of Environmental Engineering - Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering

Industrial Engineering (Specialization in Energy or Environment) - Law Degree (with an interest in Urban, Administrative, or Energy Law) - Geography and Territorial Planning


Experience: No prior experience is required.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Advanced Excel – essential for databases and reporting).

Basic knowledge of or interest in energy and environmental regulation in Spain.


Languages: B2 English level is a plus.


Soft Skills: Analytical Capability and Attention to Detail - Organization and Planning -Proactivity and Initiative


Other requirements: being a student - Availability for 6-7 hours daily for 5-6 months.
