3D Artist / Virtual Art Designer – Virtual Production Studios

The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for a 3D Artist / Virtual Art Designer to create and optimise 3D assets, environments, and animations for virtual production projects. Within the position you will collaborate with the creative and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of art assets into virtual environments, enhancing the overall immersive experience.

The Role

• Design and develop high-quality 3D assets, textures, and environments for virtual production.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate assets into virtual environments and ensure real-time performance.
• Create animations and visual effects optimised for virtual production workflows.
• Develop immersive and interactive experiences for virtual sets and simulations.
• Maintain quality control to ensure assets meet both creative and technical standards.

The Person

• Strong experience in 3D modelling, animation, and visual design.
• Proficiency with 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3DS Max).
• Knowledge of virtual production and real-time rendering engines (e.g. Unreal Engine).
• Experience with optimising assets for real-time performance.
• Understanding of interactive design and immersive environments.
• Ability to collaborate in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

The Details

• Daily rate: €240-280 (Autónomo)
• Location: Barcelona, Spain
• Type: Studio-based (onsite)
• Contract: Ongoing temporary assignment
• Working days: 1 to 5 days per week (depending on workload)
• Start date: ASAP
