Our Company:

Europrop International GmbH (EPI) is responsible for the TP400-D6 turboprop engines design, development, manufacturing and support. Produced to power the Airbus A400M Military Transport Aircraft built by Airbus Defence and Space, the TP400-D6 is the most powerful engine in production.

Consisting of a European collaboration programme between ITP, MTU Aero Engines, Rolls-Royce and Safran Aircraft Engines, Europrop International combines the best of Europe’s aerospace companies’ resources and expertise. Created in 2002, EPI is based in Munich and has a liaison office in Madrid.

Our job offer is for our Madrid Offices, located at a nice Business Park in San Fernando de Henares with restaurants, open green spaces, bank, post-office, gym, private parking and public transport and shuttle service to and from different areas of Madrid.

We occupy the second floor of a lighting three stages building under an open space concept office. Job Description:


Scope:

  • Act as EPI Quality Assurance Representative with Suppliers, Parent Companies (PCs) and Customer (Airbus FAL).
  • Act as EPI Quality Assurance Representative within the Program & MRO (Aftermarket) departments.
  • Act as EPI Quality Focal Point for Engineering activities. Manage day-to-day issues within EPI organisation together with EPI Design, EPI Programme, EPI Service Engineering and EPI Aftermarket Programme


Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Quality Escape Reports (QER's) within EPI organisation, Suppliers and Parent Companies (PCs) maintaining and further developing the performance measurement and Supplier Scorecards.
  • Manage QER communications with Airbus.
  • Ensure that Quality Escapes are progressed and closed as committed by Suppliers and Parent Companies (PCs).
  • Responsible of updating and improvement of EPI QER process in alignment with Suppliers, PCs, EAL and FAL
  • Manage the Non Conformance Reports (NCR's) within EPI organisation, Suppliers and Parent Companies (PCs).
  • Manage Discrepancy Reports (DR's) amongst EPI, OCCAR, PCs and suppliers
  • Follow-up and support investigations related to quality related topics, NCRs and QERs.
  • Support and follow up of customer quality issues in coordination with the Quality Assurance Representative at FAL and EAL.
  • Act a customer focal point w.r.t. Spares quality (ADS, OCCAR and Nations).
  • Compile, review and maintain the required Quality Metrics and KPIs for PMQ.
  • Maintain the Quality department “Action Tracker” tool.
  • Identify risks, propose and develop mitigation actions.
  • Perform Quality audits, POA (Production Organization Approval) and MOA (Maintenance Organization Approval), to ensure processes adherence at all levels and address specific critical areas.
  • Ensure compliance to the EPI QMS within the given work scope and work proactively on improvements for the EPI QMS.
  • Participate regularly in Quality and/or Production Meeting presenting quality issues and provide the requested quality related KPIs and Supplier Scorecards.
  • Participate as EPI Quality Focal Point in TP400 ERB and PSRB.
  • To collaborate with the Head of PMQ on QMM (Quality Manager Meetings) organization and preparation.
  • To collaborate with the Head of PMQ on quality aspects on OCCAR-EPI contract and EPI-PCs sub-contracts Quality Plans, support on ISQM (In Service Quality Meeting).



Profile:

  • Education: Grade
  • Specialization: Aeronautical Engineer / Quality
  • Experience Years: 3-5 years
  • People reporting to this position: none
  • Good knowledge in Aerospace regulations and standards EASA Part21 / Part145 / EN9100 / AQAP / EMAR etc.
  • Good knowledge in engine production and maintenance
  • Good experience with customer interface
  • Good experience in various Quality root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, etc.).
  • Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Very flexible regarding working and service times as we have to cope with unscheduled events and a tight delivery plan
  • Team player able to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Good English level is mandatory
