At Hays, we are currently seeking a Senior Sys Admin to join a leading company in the financial sector. If you have solid IT support experience and a passion for delivering efficient solutions, this opportunity is for you.


Role Purpose


As an IT Support Specialist L1/L2, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive technical support to internal users and external clients. This position requires strong knowledge of IT systems and software, with a focus on efficient problem-solving and maintaining high user satisfaction. You will manage support processes aligned with IT best practices and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Technical Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide first and second-level support in Windows environments (hardware, software, network, etc.)
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively

M365 / MS Exchange Administration and Azure Exposure

  • Manage Microsoft 365 and Exchange environments
  • Participate in cloud service management using Azure

ITSM Tools and Ticketing Systems

  • Use IT service management tools to track and resolve incidents
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and solutions

Customer Service and Communication

  • Deliver excellent customer service with clear, empathetic, and effective communication
  • Guide users through problem resolution

Proactivity and Autonomy

  • Act proactively in the face of IT challenges
  • Continuously seek improvements in IT services

User Training and Education

  • Conduct training sessions and create educational materials on systems and software
  • Develop guides and FAQs to address common issues

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Identify ways to improve support processes and user satisfaction
  • Stay up to date with IT trends and best practices

Security and Compliance

  • Adhere to IT security policies
  • Support the implementation of data protection and infrastructure measures

✅ Must-Have Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support
  • Experience in the financial or trading sector (not mandatory, but must come from a corporate environment)
  • Strong technical expertise in Windows environments
  • Microsoft 365 and Exchange administration, with exposure to Azure
  • Experience with ITSM tools and ticketing systems
  • Ability to manage the full support cycle (from initial contact to resolution and documentation)
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams (network, development, security)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships

⭐ Desired Skills

  • University degree in IT, Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience documenting IT processes and solutions
  • Familiarity with version control systems and documentation best practices
