Business Unit Description:


Bitron Group's Automotive Business Unit, led by Bitron Spa, is a leading global supplier with expertise in various components for the automotive market, such as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), powertrain, transmissions, chassis, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and industrial vehicles. Our manufacturing plants are located in different parts of the world, which helps us be close to car manufacturers (OEMs) and find the best solutions for their needs, even for complex applications.


About the Role:


The electronics quality manager ensures that electronic products meet required quality and reliability standards. They conduct audits, failure analysis, and follow-up on corrective actions. Knowledge in inductive sensors, testing processes, and quality tools is essential. In a multicultural environment, they must demonstrate rigor, effective communication, quality orientation, and analytical skills.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the technical development of the electronic product project PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembled).
  • Serves as the internal reference for specific automotive electronics design and testing.
  • Acts as the external technical interface in electronics with the OEM client.
  • Leads a dedicated team of specialists in development and validation, both in Hardware (HW) and Software (SW).
  • Performs and supervises the technical feasibility of the finished printed circuit board with electronic components (PCBA).
  • Reviews and approves the electrical schematic of the PCBA product according to client specifications, system requirements, and client standards.
  • Ensures that the PCBA product with electronic components, its assembly and soldering process, complies with client standards and Bitron’s electronic capitalization practices.
  • Ensures that the electronic components of the PCBA product meet the Automotive Electronics Council (AEC-Q) qualification for integrated circuits used in automotive applications.
  • Ensures the definition of internal system requirement specifications based on client specifications and Bitron-specific requirements.
  • Ensures coverage and traceability regarding client requirements and Bitron’s system validation specifications.
  • Executes and ensures the system requirements process for Bitron’s internal HW/SW development team or for external electronics suppliers (HW/SW).
  • Coordinates with the Program Manager, Technical Manager, and Functional Safety Manager, maintaining regular interactions with development team members.
  • Ensures the retention of know-how and lessons learned in electronics within the company, and provides appropriate training to new team members through on-the-job learning.
  • Acts as an expert mentor in electronics for Program Managers and Technical Managers in cost estimation and resource allocation activities.
  • Serves as a technical expert and problem-solver for the Electronics Area team, which he/she coordinates and is dedicated to the development and validation of the electronic product.
  • Comply with all provisions of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law and Environmental regulations.
  • Comply with all provisions of the Data Protection Law.
  • Comply with all provisions of criminal risk prevention and compliance regulations.
  • Regarding information security, responsibilities include ensuring compliance with information security policies within their area of responsibility. Participate in and promote initiatives to improve information security.



Who we are looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.


  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing in English and Spanish.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, anticipating and mitigating project risks, and dealing with issues in a practical environment.
  • A cooperative mindset, enthusiastic to work in multidisciplinary.


Knowledge of French, German, or Italian is a plus.
