WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Multinational company, lead in construction sector, is looking for a lawyer with experience in the North American market.

The Legal Counsel supports the legal department and the different departments of the company providing guidance in legal matters, litigations, corporate transactions, contract review or legal risk assessment.

Location: Madrid

Smart Job: remote work 2 days a week

Schedule: 14h – 22h

Job Expectations

• General litigation and claims management
• Collection/bankruptcy claims
• Employment consults
• Corporate transactions
• General legal guidance and support to all business units
• Contract review and negotiation
• Backup for real estate transactions: leases; acquisitions and sales
• Backup HS&E Legal Assistance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE

Desired

• 10 years of experience as a lawyer in the United States, licensed to practice law in the United States, and working during US business hours.

EDUCATION

Required

• Law Certification/License to practice in USA

Desired

• Bachelor’s degree, BAR exam

SKILLS

Required

• Communication: Oral & Written. Capacity to interact with multiple levels within all faces with commercial industry projects
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently, in addition to being a positive team member
