Fullstack AI developer - contract

We are seeking a Full-Stack AI Developer (Contractor) with strong backend expertise to join a pilot project enhancing access to an international legal database. You’ll work alongside a Project Manager and an AI Architect to deliver key chatbot and search features powered by Azure and OpenAI.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize backend microservices and APIs for chatbot workflows.
• Implement a simple, multilingual chat interface with history and source linking.
• Define Azure infrastructure with IaC and set up CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR/AI Act through secure, auditable design.

• Strong backend/full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure OpenAI and related Azure services.
• Familiarity with conversational AI, RAG pipelines, and IaC tools.
• English required; Spanish a plus.

• Start: ASAP
• Location: Preference for Spain; open to nearshore Europe.
• Fast-track hiring: two interview stages.
