Ebro SUV is looking for a Field/Customer Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Corporate Quality department in Barcelona.


This position plays a key role in analyzing potential vehicle issues, as well as establishing, directing, and implementing all necessary activities to ensure the safety and quality of Ebro brand vehicles throughout their lifecycle. The focus will be on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.


You will be responsible for determining the appropriate actions when quality issues arise with affected vehicles in the field. You will prioritize the safety of Ebro customers while considering technical, economic, and legal aspects.


Key Responsabilities:

· Conducting problems resolution to the right department in the company.

· Reporting about relevant topics and (actions into customer vehicles) into the company.

· Taking decisions for actions in vehicles focused on vehicle quality and also taking into consideration technical, economic and legal aspects.

· Manage customer complaints and coordinate the corresponding responses.

· Collect and Manage customer complaints and coordinate the corresponding responses also tracking issues to closure.

· Manage IT tools for Data Management.

· Assure Lessons Learned process return to different areas into the Brand to avoid same problems/incidences in new products.

· Build and maintain relationships with after-sales and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of customer vehicles.


Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor’s/master’s degree in science or engineering, experience in quality management is preferred.

· Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.

· A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance departments and/or Customer/Field quality assurance departments, into OEM´s or Tier 1 suppliers.

· Experience in analysis and management of automotive problems.

· Familiar with basic tools and methods of quality management, such as, DFMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, etc.

· Ability to lead and motivate teams in continuous quality improvement.

· Knowledge of quality tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, 5 Whys, 8 Ds.

· Knowledge and experience in the implementation of relevant automotive quality standards and regulations (IATF, ISO 9001, VDA...)

· Technical training in vehicles would be a plus.

· Other European languages and/or Chinese would be a plus.

· Experience interacting with authorities, ministries, and accredited entities is also a plus.
