Global Content Tagging Consultant | Spain (Hybrid/Flexible)

We’re partnering with a global leader in finding a Global Content Tagging Consultant who will play a pivotal role in shaping how content is structured, discovered, and leveraged across international platforms.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact team driving innovation in metadata strategy, content tagging, and semantic data integration, ensuring content is not only well-organized but also strategically aligned with business performance and user experience goals.

Your Mission

As the primary liaison for the global tagging community, you’ll be instrumental in driving consistency, resolving issues, and enhancing the visibility of digital content through structured metadata. You’ll collaborate across functions to ensure tagging systems are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for the tagging community, responding to queries and resolving tagging-related issues
• Review tagging implementation across platforms by generating reports and identifying any inconsistencies or gaps
• Contribute to the setup and ongoing maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools to monitor tagging capabilities and project status
• Support the preparation, submission, and follow-up of project requests related to tagging
• Oversee updates to tagging values and maintain internal documentation, including master data and attribute records
• Track tagging project milestones, highlight potential risks, and assist in mitigation planning
• Escalate technical challenges to relevant support teams and manage incident resolution through ServiceNow
• Organize and support workshops for Tagging & Attributes (TA) champions, including planning, facilitation, and post-session reviews
• Assist in rolling out improvements to tagging systems, processes, and attribute structures
• Ensure tagging systems are operating effectively and meet cross-channel tracking requirements
• Create and deliver training materials and communications to encourage adoption of tagging standards and best practices

What You Bring

• Expertise in metadata management, taxonomy, and tagging principles
• Hands-on experience with content management and digital asset management platforms
• Familiarity with Semantic Web technologies (e.g., RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SKOS)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Experience in developing and delivering training content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Office Suite
• Background in customer service or user support
• Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., German or Spanish) are a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
