We're Hiring: Health & Safety Trainee

Position Summary

Support role within the Occupational Risk Prevention and Wellbeing department at Werfen Iberia, focused on the operational management of Prevention.

What functions will you perform?

• Responsible for reviewing and updating the prevention plans of the different Werfen Iberia companies.
• Act as the point of contact with the SPA technicians of the Werfen Iberia work centers.
• Review the Risk Assessments of the different work centers in line with each center’s operational activity, as well as the definition of job positions.
• Provide support to the Quality and Supply Chain department in the acquisition of PPE.
• Collaborate with the Safety, Health & Risk Prevention Officer_CAE in drafting and reviewing work procedures and Risk Assessments.
• Responsible for investigating incidents and accidents, as well as managing and reducing them.
• Implement, develop, and control the procedures/instructions of the Occupational Risk Prevention Management System (SGPRL).
• Monitor and follow up on employees’ initial and specific training.
• Provide support to the different company departments regarding Prevention.
• Manage and document training through the company’s SAP application.
• Draft job profiles (“profesiogramas”) for the different roles.
• Collaborate in managing emergency plans and participate in drills.
• Manage record documentation and non-conformities through the company’s SAP tool.
• Provide support to the Safety, Health & Risk Prevention Officer_CAE in any required tasks or functions.
• Manage the department’s KPIs, ensuring and overseeing compliance.
• Participate in the department’s different projects, balancing them with daily tasks.
• Actively participate in the department’s digitalization strategy, optimizing resources.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.

What are we looking for?

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (or similar).
• Possibility to sign a learning agreement with the university/school for a period of 6 months.
• Availability in the mornings.
• Interest in learning about regulations, protocols, and risk assessments.
• Basic knowledge of Office 365.
• Proactive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to grow in the field of Occupational Risk Prevention.
