SEEKING: DBA Cloud

We are looking for a profesional with solid experience as an Oracle/SQL/Postgres/MySQL production and development DBA. With Cloud experience, Preferably Google Cloud Platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS :

● Design, develop and deploy automation systems for administration and data-handling tasks.

● Maintain database and data warehouse on premise and cloud environments. Implement tool upgrades and patches.

● Migrate legacy databases to the Cloud.

● Execute and translate into operational excellence the database architecture roadmaps and specific plans to implement them

● Database capacity planning, version upgrades and migrations

● Proactively monitor production database systems, analyze findings, formulate recommendations, and work with the database Architect to implement recommendation

● Ensure database standards are followed and implemented

● Usage of new database features

● Patch testing and deployment

● Performance and scalability goals

● High availability and disaster recovery goals

● Data security and protection

● Functionality, stress, and load testing

● Review procedures and technical documentation

● Work to meet project deadlines, accommodate demands by users, set priorities, organize information and escalate issues appropriately

● Participation in multiple projects concurrently.

● Discuss designs and implementation with technical groups about

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

► 3+ years’ experience as an Oracle/SQL/Postgres/MySQL production and development DBA.

► Cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure/etc) -> Preferably Google Cloud Platform

► Scripting and tuning

► Linux

► DB Tools/Utilities (e.g., Toad, Enterprise Manager, SQL Developer, RMAN, EXPDP etc.)

► Compliance and ITIL initiatives (SOX, PCI, etc.)

LANGUAGE :

● Fluent English and Spanish (B2 Level)
