OVERVIEW:

Leading global operator specialised in the complete management of solar and wind assets for the generation of electricity is looking for a Project Developer to support its expansion in Iberia region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the Project Development team this position will be accountable for the following tasks:

• Manage and coordinate the development activities associated with project pipeline (Project management), by proactively anticipating and addressing potential issues.
• Preparing adequate project progress reports, and presentations required for internal purposes, by properly addressing key risks associated with each project or opportunity.
• Manage the budget associated to the pipeline.
• Coordinate and manage the activity of the external advisers (engineering, environmental consultants, co-developers, etc..) which are required during the permitting and development of project pipeline.
• Support in the preparation of documentation required for tendering and bid processes.
• Interact with the other departments (such as finance, legal, technical, etc.) involved in project assessment or implementation.
• Interact with the local administration, coordinating the necessary activities in order to obtain the project permits (documents and bonds submission, meetings, etc.)

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERTISE:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience required.
• +3 years of combined professional experience working (directly or indirectly) in the renewable industry with Project Management role. Ideally the candidate will have a solid experience in all development aspects associated to the delivery of renewable projects in Spain.
• Familiarity with permitting process and interaction with local and federal authorities and with external technical, legal and financial advisers.
