We are in search of a Precommisisoning Instrument Supervisor. The Precommisisoning Instrument Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the Instrumentation team during the precommisisoning and commissioning phases. The role ensures that all instrumentation systems are installed and tested correctly, operate efficiently, and comply with project specifications and deadlines.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for Field Loop Testing activities performed in the assigned unit.
  • Coordinate main activities daily with control supervisors/troubleshooting supervisors.
  • Coordinate main field activities daily with the subcontractor's loop testing team and the client.
  • Manage subcontracted personnel and activities under their purview to achieve the quality and production required for the project.
  • Redline drawings and marking for ILD, ISD, or any field-side wiring drawings under the loop testing activity.
  • Responsible for coordinating subcontractor loop testing groups, ensuring quality execution according to the loop testing procedure.
  • Responsible for having a good understanding of plant locations and priority cycles to align with project execution.
  • Responsible for having radios and special tools available and in good condition when required for loop testing. All tools must meet the calibration expiration date.
  • Responsible for Coordinate with the troubleshooting team regarding issues encountered on-site.
  • Highlight any issues found during loop testing related to poor maintenance or any violations by the subcontractor in the field.
  • Responsible for providing a detailed report of any damaged instruments with the (possible) reason.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper maintenance of instruments upon decommissioning for any commissioning activities.
  • Responsible for assisting and coordinating instrumentation suppliers on-site.


Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in the precommissioning and commissioning of industrial or large-scale instrumentation systems, including DCS SAT, loop and functional checks, ILD and ISD red marks,instrument troubleshooting.
  • Availability to travel to the project in Belgium.
