Job Overview:

LDA Capital is looking for a results-driven professional to actively engage with global publicly traded companies seeking alternative financing and to originate transactions for the firm’s public markets investment strategy.

Candidates shall have a background in equity/debt capital markets across advisory, investing or financial sales. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and decision makers. You will discover qualified investment opportunities by identifying targets resulting from various investment themes; you will be expected to build rapport and to establish long-term relationships along the way. The position requires the management of a high-volume of investment opportunities requiring constant interaction and communication with potential targets; exceptional attention to detail is a must. The individual must be highly motivated, must work well under pressure and must have the ability to work independently in a rapidly evolving capital markets environment. This candidate will work closely with members of the transaction team and Investment Committee.


Responsibilities:

• Drive origination of investment opportunities and convert qualified leads into transactions.

• Update and manage all origination activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM.

• Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified investment opportunities.

• Research and investigate investment opportunities by analyzing new relationship opportunities via LinkedIn and/e-mailing.

• Perform financial & technical analyses, industry research, and prepare deal screening memos to be reviewed by the investment committee.

• Additional responsibilities may include assisting the Managing Partners and Investment teams in various projects and with the sourcing of special situation investment opportunities.

• Front seat view into the origination and structuring of transactions for a global alternative investment firm.

• Working directly with established multi strategy investors, Founders & Co-CEO’s.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience (must)

• Bilingual preferred (must be fluent in English).

• Ready, willing, and able to work extended (early and late) hours given various global time zones.

• Proven ability to work the phones, manage high volume of emails and ability to network virtually (i.e., LinkedIn).

• Strong work ethic with professional behavior, appearance, and personal integrity.

• Keen interest in the financial markets and strong business acumen

• Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Genuine passion for excellence; results oriented.

• Ability to work independently with focus and determination.

• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Excel, Bloomberg, Word and PowerPoint applications).

• Relevant industry experience

Compensation: EUR 42,000-45,000 + discretionary bonus
