ByHours.com is the first platform that allows you to book in a nice Hotel for packs of 3, 6, or 12 hours with a flexible checking, paying only for the time you use it. We’ve been doing this for the last 5 years, acquiring on the way more than 2,000 hotels, and delighting more than 50,000 customers in countries all over the world.

We are a young & international team, passionate about what we do, quick learners and achievers. We like crazy ideas and thinking big, and we love the startup life, that’s why we are based in a start-up hub by the Barceloneta beach in Barcelona, surrounded of entrepreneurs, developers, digital marketers, skaters and surfers.

- Are you the sales internship we look for?

We are looking for someone to help us acquire more Hotels to increase the product offering for our customers. We look for people who can transmit to a hotel the great opportunity that it is for them to start selling their rooms with us. Someone to convince and seduce them in joining this fair price revolution, and get the deal closed.

This person is someone with great communication skills, a born sales-person, who can manage a high pipeline and workload, and is ready to the thrill and intensity of a fast growing startup.

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Assistant, your job will consist of acquiring new Hotels from different countries. This involves:

  • Recruitment and hiring of new hotels in certain specific areas over the phone.
  • Share with your prospect Hotels the values, vision and mission of ByHours and convince them to be part of our journey.
  • Create solid relationships with the Hotels you talk to, and ease their fears and doubts regarding our business model.
  • Varied tasks and the opportunity of developing a wide range of skills in an innovative and pioneering company in the sector.
  • Give Feedback: Identify any potential issues in the sales process defined and escalate potential quality issues to management.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English is a must and other languages (french, german, spanish) is a plus.
  • Capacity for autonomous planning and strategic creation.
  • A passion for travel industry (OTA'S, basic concepts of Hospitality, Travel...)
  • 6 month minimum internship.
  • Availability: as soon as possible.
