The team
Our motto is: "We'll be making the difference, going for a superior employee journey and planetary health". This immediately indicates the two most important pillars for all our activities: providing a great working environment for ING employees and preserving our planet.
The mission of the Centre of Expertise Corporate Real Estate Management and Facility Services NL (CREFS-NL) is to enable and improve the ING way of working by designing and realizing the most suitable working and customer-oriented environments and associated facility services.
Of course, we do this in line with ING's strategy of 'sustainability at heart'. Together with our suppliers, we have committed to reducing CO2 use, energy consumption, waste and encouraging sustainable behavior among employees.
Through an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) construction, the operational and tactical activities are outsourced to mainly one supplier. The CREFS-NL organization is responsible for strategy definition, development of services, project management, performance management and contract management.
The essence is to know which requirements the customer organizations have for accommodation (Corporate Real Estate) and Facility Services and to know what the supplier can deliver. Based on this, a portfolio of accommodation and services is established to be provided by the supplier. Subsequently, the provision of the services is tested against the desired quality level and the agreed costs.
This is done in partnership with the supplier and in close cooperation with the global Corporate Real Estate Management organization and with the professional disciplines Human Resources and Workplace Services.
The CREFS organization consists of two main departments:
Corporate Real Estate Management, responsible for long term real estate strategy, workplace design, asset management, real estate transactions, maintenance & lifecycle management of property and user assets, energy management and project management. Facility Services, responsible for all our soft services, logistics, safety & security and Historical Archive.
In addition to this, a project organization is in place for Program Management of the redevelopment of one of ING’s head offices in Amsterdam.
Several staff functions within CREFS support the organization in the field of Information Management, Risk Management, Demand Management and Business Management.
In addition, the organization is supported by ING staff departments like Human Resources, Finance Business Advice, Procurement and Operational and Information Risk Management.
