A Conference & Events Trainee with Hilton Hotels & Resorts will work with trend data to respond to Guest and customer enquiries in order to develop strong relationships and maximise group Conference and event revenue through proactive upselling, effective administration and outstanding customer service.

What will I be doing?
As Conference and Events Trainee, you will work with trend data to respond to Groups, Conference and Events enquiries so to develop strong relationships and maximize revenue opportunities. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Tasks:
· Respond to all Customers, whether internal or external in a manner which is both professional, courteous and in line with Hilton Brand standards and procedures relating to the department to ensure total guest satisfaction.
· Utilize systems, tools and reports in the prescribed way to ensure all decisions are supported with relevant data analysis, maximizing revenue potential.
Other Duties
Assimilate into The Hilton Family PRIDE/CARE culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of PRIDE/CARE. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Regular attendance to trainings and communication events (such as Team Member Forum) in conformance with the standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.
