Artificial Solutions is looking for a Junior Accountant to assist the Senior Accountant with the daily operations of the Financial Controlling & Accounting Team such as monthly closing, preparation of tax returns, processing accounts payable & receivable and other treasury tasks. The role is based in our Finance Headquarters in Barcelona.

This is a challenging junior role and an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop his/her accounting skills in a multinational and fast-pace environment.

The position will focus upon:

• Transaction Processing of General Ledger, A/P and A/R 
• Assist with preparations of Tax returns 
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and participate with other treasury tasks 
• Assist the Accounting and Consolidation Manager preparing external audit’s support information 
• Participate in the monthly closing 
• Participate in the analysis, reviews and understanding of the P&L and BS of his/her subsidiaries 
• Provide assistance with other ad hoc reports and team projects.

Education:

Accounting, Finance or Business Administration qualification
Knowledge and Experience:

• 1 year post qualification experience of accounting/bookkeeping. 
• Good technical accounting skills. 
• Excel advanced skills 
• Knowledge of accounting systems ( Navision, Axapta, etc.) will be a plus 

Languages:

• Fluent English both written and spoken
