Your role and work environment:
As a Market Research Expert within “Customer Obsession & Innovation CoE” at ING Spain, you will be the champion of understanding customers’ needs.
In your day-to-day work, you will ensure the bank delivers top-notch people-centric experiences. To do so, you will have to talk to different experts within the bank who will share their business questions with you and challenge you. Your role will be to know how to design a research methodology that will ensure you get the answers to these questions. In addition to designing the methodology you will carry out autonomously some of these market research in-house. Other times, you will outsource the research and your role will be to choose and supervise the most suitable supplier.
Exceeding our clients’ expectations is a process of constant iteration. You will contribute to this process by conducting different exercises.
Your key responsibilities:
As a Market Research Expert in ING Spain you will:
Design, manage and coordinate market research projects using both traditional and innovative methodologies.
Have a strong understanding of business needs, country strategy and bank drivers for ensuring value proposition fits the market
Work with business representatives and team members to understand business questions.
Research knowledge in the industry and latest trends to come up with additional insights.
Manage and draw on relevant internal and external sources of information and data

Proven track record and technical skills:
7+ years in related professional work.
Strong analytical skills and ability to link data and information coming from different sources
Strong- knowledge of market research techniques, especially champion of quantitative analysis.
Able to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects.
Ability to understand detailed complex requirements and identify root recommendations inspired by the consumers’ needs.
Excellent oral and written English skills.
Ability to communicate ideas and solutions clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
Experience working following the Agile SCRUM framework is a plus.
Experience in CX and innovation teams and trend research is a plus.
Your work environment
You will be working in the Research Team within the Customer Obsession and Innovation Center of Expertise, reporting to the Research Expert Lead. The work location is Calle Vía de los Poblados, 1, 28033 (Madrid)
You will work in close connection with an international network of colleagues and leaders in the ING countries.
