Your role and work environment:

 

You will be part of the Investment and Funds Entrusted tribe, where we aim to help and encourage customers to manage their wealth in a simple and efficient way, while we have a lot of fun!

 

Within this tribe will be a Customer Journey Expert, so you offer ING’s customers solutions to grow their money with funds. You aim at improving ING’s performance and identify opportunities to better serve and delight customers in the funds end to end processes.

 

You will lead the path to manage our mutual funds business with two main angles to it (1) run existing business from an end-to-end perspective, covering all the different mutual funds angles: IT systems, commercial strategy, product range day to day and interaction with asset managers, measuring relevant KPIs, business tracking and holding an active connection with distribution and sales teams to boost mutual funds business.

(2) thinking long term and beyond: definition of strategy to grow target market through welcoming more “new to Investment Products” customers & keep our product offer fresh & authentic, with special focus on incorporating a differential ESG offer to our suite.

 

As a Customer Journey Expert (CJE) with Product Owner (PO) role you will define the initiatives allowing to reach the goals of your Tribe.

 

All this with maximum protection to the customer and looking for being the best in class in the demanding regulatory framework (CNMV, MIFID 2, …)

 

You will be part of a cross and multidisciplinary tribe and will also participate in the CJE Chapter to improve the CJE craftmanship of the bank and to build a high-performance way of working.

 

As a CJE with the PO role you will report to the Investment & Funds Entrusted Chapter Lead.

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

As an PO of mutual funds squad you are responsible of:

 

  • Customer Experience: Provide the best customer experience by designing, mapping and constantly improving the customer journey performance leveraging on our Innovation methodology (PACE). With an end-to-end process view being able to collect CX and data, translating into UX and IT landscapes.
  • Digital Strategy: As experts in digital experience, be proactive in the identification of new capabilities in our digital platform in order to engage our customers and increase efficiency of our assisted channels bringing the best experience in the moments of truth.
  • Commercial Strategy: In collaboration with marketing and customer interactions teams, definition of commercial campaign strategy so offering value proposition to clients in a personalized and customer centric way.
  • Data Fluency: Comprehend, define, select, and analyze data to garner insights that enhance the decision-making process. Responsible to guarantee bank revenue and balance benefit-cost presenting business cases presenting benefit tracking after the implementation.
  • Product: launch and maintain an attractive and compliant (very important so leading regulatory backlog and MIFID II and CNMV requirements) value proposition on the market providing the highest customer satisfaction. It includes asset managers and partners relationship keeping collaboration fluent and steering and managing our product range jointly. 
  • Agile Delivery: Translate business needs in requirements for the implementation in the IT and change circle. Prioritizing based on value delivery for our customers in short cycles, defining a first MVP and improving with the feedback gathered. Strive for efficiency, reduce complexity in our definitions, pursuing for innovative solutions. Manages dependencies, non-financial risk awareness and impediments.

Proven track record and technical skills

 

  • University degree, master in finance related is also a plus.
  • 5+ years’ professional experience in banking.
  • Experience/affinity with the Investments, assets managers, and distribution in digital banking area is a plus.
  • Sound experience in MIFID and regulatory context around mutual funds.
  • Proven experience in working with mutual funds asset managers or financial markets.
  • Experience in leading, driving and steering multidisciplinary teams (working in agile is a plus).
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
