Your role and work environment:

ING Spain is seeking a Local Product Manager to join the Transaction Services (TS) team (Cash and Trade). The team works with large corporates to offer TS solutions for the Bank: Payments and Cash Management (PCM), Trade Finance and Working Capital Solutions (Receivables Finance and Supply Chain Finance).

The purpose of the local Product Manager function is to make our clients successful by offering them seamlessly integrated TS solutions. Products in scope are:

•           Payments

•           Cash and Liquidity Solutions

•           Trade (Guarantees and Working Capital Solutions)

•           Digital Channels

The local Product Manager closely liaises with the four corresponding Global TS Product Tribes, within the Global TS organization and drives the local implementation to become a leading and innovative TS network bank in Europe.

The local product manager TS supports the improvement of products, pricing, processes, documentation, and tooling in such a way that internationally operating clients experience ING as One Bank across the entire ING network.

The local Product Manager is responsible to keep the TS products ´safe and secure´ and has the local asset ownership for all Transaction Services IT assets in scope.

You will share a responsibility with and will support the local TS Sales department to improve ING’s TS performance and identify opportunities to better serve and delight our customers. You will proactively anticipate dependencies and collaboration across the entire organization and with the parties that need to contribute to a specific implementation of your business area. You will report the future direction, required capacity and delivery of your business area to overall Global TS Strategy & Change organization via Quarterly Business Reviews and the yearly Dynamic Plan. 

The local Product Manager Transaction Services reports functionally to the Global TS Strategy & Change organization, and hierarchally to the Local WB Head of Transaction Services.

Your key responsibilities:

•           You are responsible for implementing the solutions for our clients that allows them to stay a step ahead in life and business;

•           Supporting TS sales to offer TS solutions by seamless integration into the value chain of our clients and by connecting it with other internal and external capabilities;

•           Ensure seamless customer experience in the full customer journey from presales to onboarding to in life, which should help to achieve the financial TS KPIs;

ownership on risk management and follow the appropriate procedures to assess and mitigate financial risk and non-financial risk while operating simple standardized business processes to protect the organization from undue risks;

•           You are accountable for executing risk & control compliancy and mitigation of business and operational risks;

•           Constant focus on cost efficiency to be able to compete in the market; assessment and processing pricing set up and modifications;

•           You are active in cross-border interaction between people, tribes, squads and chapters (within and outside your own Product Area);

•           You maintain contacts with stakeholders within the Wholesale organization and domestic banks like the Global TS Product Tribes, TS Sales/Coverage organization, etc;

•           You strengthen the “ING way of working” while safeguarding the Orange Code as a role model, and

•           You participate in high-performing teams and remove impediments.            

What are we looking for?

•           Bachelor´s or Master’s degree (preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance);

•           At least 5 years relevant in-depth experience/knowledge in TS Products, preferably in all four area: Trade, Payments, Channels and Cash & Liquidity;

.           Experience in Middle Office TS will be valued;

           At ease, with managing time sensitive projects with many stakeholders;

•           An entrepreneur that combines client focus with delivery power;

•           Ability to display style flexibility to teams and adapt plan, approach and behavior to the different needs and situations;

•           Strong organizational sensitivity and drive; ability to understand and take into account the underlying issues, opportunities and dynamics of both the local organization as the Global Wholesale Bank;

•           Ability to take responsibility and realizations based on facts and data; managerial courage to question and make decisions;

           Team player. Sharing information with all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner, help other stakeholders reach their objectives;

•           Ability to communicate smoothly internally and externally;

•           Strong ethics and professionalism integrity;

           You are willing to learn every day in a continuous changing global environment with high expectations of clients, and

.           Excellent level of English
