Who we are
Lodgify is a fast-growing startup, focused on enabling vacation rental owners and property managers to independently manage and market their businesses online. We do so by providing them with an all-in-one solution whose main features are a website builder to build bookable websites, a reservation system to manage reservations, payments and messages, and a channel manager to connect to majors OTA's.
Our vision is to make the lives of vacation rental owners and property managers easier by simplifying their process and by helping them become independent from OTA’s.
We are an international team of more than 130 people from 29 different nationalities in the heart of Barcelona and we’ve been featured twice in Wired's 100 Hottest European startups list.
About the role
Lodgify is on the lookout for an experienced Product Design Manager to lead and grow our Design team. As part of the Product team, you will be reporting to the VP Product. What you will do:
- Align the Design vision and strategy across our different Product Groups;
- Manage and grow a talented team of Product Designers, UX Writer and UX Researchers;
- Teach relevant tools and methods to up-skill and expand the potential of the team;
- Implement processes and new design methodologies to deliver a consistent and high-quality user experience;
- Be a strong advocate for customer centricity;
- Consistently nurture our design culture.
Requirements
Expected profile
- You have 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring a Product Design team, facilitating design processes;
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer;
- You love building strong positive relationships with high performing teams;
- You are user obsessed and know how to work with quantitative and qualitative methods;
- You are curious, like to learn and test new things;
- You have great written and oral communication skills in English to work effectively with users, product managers, engineers and stakeholders.
