Our client specialises in University Technologies for integrated campus products; campus ID and campus commerce solutions.  As an industry leading US Multinational software company, our client are lucky to have deep support and experience inhouse with talented engineers, infrastructure experts and architects all working collaboratively.

Requirements

8+ years in professional software development and delivery;
5+ years of experience working on public cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure;
Demonstrable experience working across multi-product/multi-team work environments;
Experience with cloud native frameworks like Kubernetes;
Experience across a wide range of languages, platforms, tools/environment, processes;
High quality organizational and leadership skills with demonstrable ability to train other technical staff;
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English are required.

On the daily, you will

Perform product architecture and design in support of new and existing products;

Create architectures and designs that:

  • Enable frequent product increment delivery and release cycles
  • Are highly scalable and performant
  • Maximize business service reuse potential across products
  • Maximize product cost in terms of Cloud services required to support architecture

Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility;

Develop Product Architecture, Design, Integration and high-level product specification documents;

Determine and document meaningful business-oriented APIs;

Work with cloud consultants and vendors to evaluate new products;

Develop and present point-of-view on technical options to meet business requirements with consideration for business needs, cost, time, and technical (present/future);

Work with Product Managers, Product Owners, Development Teams, Data Analysts to ensure the successful planning and production of application software releases;

Ensure the Development team has a clear vision of the product’s overarching technical direction and how that aligns to the Product Vision and Business Goals;

Stay abreast of industry technical trends and associated opportunities for product architecture and design optimization;

Provide technical mentoring and coaching to development team members.

  • Accommodation – Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate and whoever travels with them for a period of 3 months.
  • Schooling – Any Children of School age will be enrolled in a local school
  • Other Supports Available – Phone, Living Expenses etc.
