As a Consultant at proALPHA, you will advise and support our customers in technical and system-related matters. Whether via e-mail, telephone or remote access: you analyze, process and solve complex problems with a broad repertoire of different tools. In doing so, you will use our knowledge base, which is filled by means of KCS (Knowledge-Centered Service), and expand it collectively and demand-based together with our knowledge workers. Through your collaboration with the development department, systems engineering, quality management, documentation and product management, you will thus form a central interface between the software and the customer. 

  • In a partnership-based cooperation with customers, you will develop solution proposals for complex problems and provide smaller consulting services
  • This includes systematic research in our internal knowledge databases, analysis on the customer system as well as reproducing customer issues in our reference systems
  • You will support our customers in setting up and configuring their proALPHA environments
  • Detailed and complete documentation of your solutions and work progress round off your work

Your profile
  • You have successfully completed your technical training (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or your studies in the IT field (e.g. business informatics).
  • You have relevant professional experience and initial knowledge of ERP or merchandise management programs and stand out due to your affinity for IT and IT-related issues
  • Initial experience in List & Label and the proALPHA document management system would be desirable, but is not a must
  • You are flexible and open to shift work
  • You use your expertise and analytical skills to provide the best possible customer service and accept constantly changing and exciting tasks as a challenge.
  • You align your actions with the needs of our customers, signal a willingness to serve and communicate tactfully and confidently in English and Polish or German
