We are looking for a Database Administrator to strengthen our team.

General responsibilities: 
    
  • Setting up and administering of MS SQL Server, including Always On availability groups     
  • Periodically check overall SQL Server health and recommend configuration improvements   
  • Monitoring query performance, finding bottlenecks and recommending improvements  
  • Monitoring indexes and statistics performance and improving their design  
  • Providing support to developers in database design   
  • Providing occasional support to production DBAs in their responsibilities 
  • Providing support to team colleagues regarding query performance  
  • Database development including: SqlPackage (DacPac), DB compression, sharding & partitioning, data conversion

The skills we look for: 

  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server administration, including Always On availability groups
  • Knowledge of T-SQL   
  • Knowledge of SQL Server database engine(s)  
  • Understanding MS SQL Server
  • Query Store  
  • Experience with SQL Server performance tuning, including Entity Framework queries tuning     
  • Experience with big OLTP databases (over 1 TB)  
  • Written and spoken English
