We are looking for:
Android Developer
Job location: Poland, preferably Warsaw
The successful candidate will join a delivery organization providing Applications Management Services (in short: AMS) for multiple IT systems and applications. Services will be delivered for a major DXC client representing the financial sector. The services scope of the team located in Poland will be applications development, expert technical support and subject matter expertise in selected solutions, implementation of changes and bug fixes, environment management, as well as contribution to software development projects.
We are looking for a motivated and energetic candidate.
The primary scope of responsibilities will include:
- Development of Android apps for clients in the financial sector,
- Creating desktop Java applications,
- Define, build, test and implement activities for projects, minor enhancements and bug fixes,
- Maintenance of technical documentation,
- Audit of security solutions,
- Advanced technical support for a complex payment system, with a particular focus on mobile channels,
- Effective communication and knowledge sharing with the leadership, architecture team, project managers and within the support and development team.
We require:
- At least 3+ years experience in mobile applications development using Java/Kotlin,
- Understanding of the Android ecosystem and its design patterns,
- Understanding of security fundamentals and working with encryption technologies,
- Knowledge of mobile applications security best practices
- Experience with security related workflow analysis,
- Experience with online security and abuse topics,
- Experience of working with RESTful APIs,
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum environment, CI/CD tools, and collaborative tools (e.g. Jira),
- Good communication skills,
- Good command of written and spoken English,
- Innovative approach to problem solving, fast learning and teamwork,
- willingness to work on shifts
Nice to have:
- Any knowledge or experience in the following concepts or technologies will be a plus:
