For our United States based client, we are looking for experienced Java developers. The selected candidates will join the team developing DevOps software dedicated for Qlik and Tableau analytical solutions. The main idea is to help with product improvement and development. Work in the aforementioned team is based on Scrum elements and other agile methodologies. Fully remote onboarding. Knowledge of Qlik or Tableau is not required, however, will be an additional advantage. We focus on general experience in software development, communication skills, teamwork and self-discipline.

Characteristic of the environment

  • Core technologies: Java 11, Hibernate, Spring, ActiveMQ, JUnit, Mockito, Gradle, Tomcat, Jenkins, IntelliJ, PostgreSQL, Git, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Maintenance and bug fixes - about 20% of the time
  • Creation of new functionalities and software development - about 80% of the time

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Java developer
  • Very good command of spoken and written English
  • Communicativeness, self-discipline, ability to work in a distributed team
  • Very good knowledge of Java version 11 and newer
  • Very good knowledge of Hibernate
  • Very good knowledge of Spring
  • Very good knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries
  • At least good knowledge of Git
  • Knowledge of design patterns and experience in their use

Nice to have

  • Experience in working remotely or with foreign clients
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of Angular or React
