Your role and work environment:

Joining as a Senior Analyst / 1^st year Associate in the dynamic Infrastructure and Energy team covering Spain and Portugal - based in Madrid.

Our team provides bank services to a wide range of clients – utilities, infra and energy funds, IPPs, industrial players – and strive to provide them with a truly comprehensive sector coverage. Be it a social infrastructure project or a renewable energy plant, you will be exposed to a variety of sub-sectors of the infrastructure and energy spaces.

Your key responsibilities:

The role will include the following tasks:

Support the origination of new deal execution for Energy and Infra Project & Structured Financings with clients/projects active in Iberia;

The candidate will prepare commercial proposals (incl. profitability and capital consumption metrics), review due diligence, write credit applications and ancillary documents, review financing documents and material project agreements (under the lead of the Deal Principal), manage deal closing process in collaboration with back-office and support functions;

Support collaboration with other teams, e.g. Financial Markets, Energy Sector Teams including Energy Project Advisory and Debt Capital Markets;

Be the prime officer on a portfolio of loan transactions and take care of the monitoring of operational and financial performance, present credit / rating reviews, handle credit modifications and waivers;

Contribute to credit, industry & market analysis ;

Support the team in various regulatory and general reporting requests.

What are we looking for?

2/3-yr experience of energy or infrastructure project finance, preferably gained with a financial institution or fund or major utility/industrial player

Excellent presentation and communication skills (English and Spanish);

Committed and dedicated team player, high quality/quantity producer, strong attention to detail;

Strong financial and credit analysis and modeling capabilities (BC, sensitivity analysis).
