Senior IT Auditor en Madrid

Descripción del empleo

This is Us.

A team of more than one thousand people sharing an idea: doing our bit in helping our clients create a better future for themselves, providing them with the tools they need to get where they want to go.

In today’s world, we know this happens because we are a fully online bank. We were born out of that idea and 20 years on, technology, simplicity and transparency continue to be the ingredients of the recipe that leaves the best taste in our mouths: being more than just a bank, someone useful in the lives of the millions of clients who have chosen us.

The way we do things also mirrors our eagerness to innovate. We are proud to be one of the very first banks to work with agile methodologies. It doesn’t ring a bell yet? No worries, we will be delighted to tell you all about it. You will find it’s one of those things you’ll want to repeat over and over.

And although we are based in Spain, we like to cross borders. We are lucky to work with international teams every day across 44 countries, composed of women and men as equal as they are diverse. Because here you are completely free to be who you want to be, love whomever you choose, and even go for pineapple as your pizza topping.

Making things happen, helping others be successful, always being one step ahead—that’s our DNA. If you look at yourself in the mirror and your reflection matches our way of being and working…we are looking forward to meeting you!

Your role and work environment:

We are looking for IT security specialist (no audit experience yet) or already experienced IT Auditor who wants to join a global team of 80 (7 people in Madrid) who are responsible for IT audits in all ING 44 countries. The team is ambitious to be best-in-class and consist of IT security and technology enthusiasts.

The team of 7 in Madrid is directly responsible for IT audits in ING Italy, Spain, Romania and France as well as might be involved in other audits within the ING retail domains (Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Turkey, Australia, Philippines).

At the end of each audit you will help to produce an audit report that helps ING to improve its security control environment and mitigate risks noted by the audit team.

This role is fun, non-routine and powerful as it is might be compared as an internal police role, however it requires maturity and up-to-date IT security knowledge to exercise our power and help to ING with care and professionalism.

What are we looking for?

We would give preference to a future team member who has the following:

  • A bachelor or master degree, preferably in IT, IT Security, IT Risk Management or IT Audit.
  • Technical (security) knowledge of IT technologies. And on top you need to have your ¨favourite¨ IT area(s) where you can consider yourself as an IT (security) expert. It can be (examples given) clouds technologies, IT programming and development processes and tolls, Identity Access management solutions, containers technologies like Docker or web/mobile applications.
  • You need to have a sound knowledge what IT Risk is in general and how organisations address them (IT Risk Management).
  • It would be a big plus if you have:
    • IT audit experience (or even an IT audit certification like CISA)
    • Knowledge of banking products and processes
    • Hands-on working experience in IT administration, operation, development
    • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g.  Nessus).
