Job summary
Amazon is looking for a pro-active, results oriented Leader to join the exciting Amazon Vendor Service EU team in Madrid, Milan, Paris, Luxembourg, London or Munich. You will oversee the performance of AVS on promotional activities (deals, bundles, BXGY...), identifying opportunities to improve business performance, minimizing HC required to deliver.
You will revisit processes used by 1.5k onshore teams (sprints, reporting tools and mechanisms), clarify R&R across retail teams to enable effectiveness and work with central teams to challenge existing processes and tools and drive adoption of best practices. In the past, this team has enabled the launch of new tools on promotionnal activity like DOT and built offshore proceses to improve the deal experience for our customers (IDQ mostly), whilst minimizing the onshore teams involvement.

This role is International in scope (EU8) and will own and support central programmes to drive improvements in key controllable inputs. Understanding of retail main drivers, effective interaction with technology teams, delivery of complex plans, identification of project gaps and the coordination of complex stakeholder configurations will be key to succeed. Innovation will be required to scale to ensure long-term success.

Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can efficiently deliver results, prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. Having a solid foundation and programmatic mindset to drive complex project is fundamental. Previous exposure to promotional activity strategies and droivers is a plus.


About the team
EU AVS Central team drive the EU AVS program strategy, offering, goals, scaling and impact. Eu AVS currently supports 1.8k+ Vendors across EU, representing 75% of the total EU business and aims at accelerating the Vendor's growth, and improving its experience working with Amazon. Due to its size and impact (1.5k HC onshore, 1.2k offshore), AVS is a key stakheolder for EU retail to achieve its business objectives and is involved in most strategic initiatives (most recently ESG).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Be an innovative leader with the ability to identify opportunities and influence organizations to gain support and overcome resistance with data and persuasion.
• Solid record of successful Program Management with business and/or tech organisations
• Relevant retail experience in Amazon or similar consumer oriented organisations.
• Multiple years of experience operating, managing, and delivering results in a consumer facing program, businesses and/or product management leadership role.
• Master’s degree required
• Strong problem solving skills; ability to work with large, complex environments where data may not be available to drive decision and alignment
• Must have a demonstrable track record of delivering results.
