Job summary
Amazon is looking for a highly talented Vendor Manager for our Total CE category based in Amazon's Madrid offices.

The Vendor Manager Wireless will establish strong relationships with key segment manufacturers and distributors, integrating them in our logistic and catalog systems, planning the selection of season collections and managing inventory levels. Further responsibilities will be to coordinate marketing activities and to drive projects to improve catalog quality and navigation and customer purchasing experience.

The Manager will work in an International environment.

Key job responsibilities
Drive selection (direct / indirect supply, priority brands and terms)

Establish relationships and conclude agreements/deals with leading brands.

Execute technical integration with suppliers and lead projects to more efficiently source stock, execute promotions and assimilate vendor catalogs.

Agree with vendors on promotions and marketing initiatives and coordinate with the Site Merchandising team to execute these activities

Demand forecasting: Create forecasts of demand based on multiple sources (local sales history, other locales data, external sources, vendor feedback)

In-stock monitoring: Daily monitoring of inventory levels to reduce stock-out/ overstock risk

Participate in day-to-day operational aspects of the category, including gathering and addressing customer feedback, price monitoring, business improvement initiatives.

Be an ambassador within the industry and continuously enhance Amazon’s position.

You will have the opportunity to develop and progress within a dynamic and growing industry and get exposure to Amazon's top management in Europe.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Engineering or Sciences.
3-5 years of working experience in management consulting, vendor account management, project management, and/or buyer position.
Strong business judgment with a track record of successful relationship management and people management skills.
Strong analytical skills (including advanced excel and database analysis).
Fluent in Spanish and English. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Inter-personal and communication skills, negotiation skills, bias for action, ownership, project management skills and A to Z business understanding are required.
Successful candidates will be autonomous, tenacious and creative. They will quickly adapt to work in a fast paced environment where prioritizing and multi-tasking are essential.
Enthusiastic and team player spirit.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Post-graduate education / Masters level qualification (MBA from top tier school is a plus).
Experienced in start-up type environments or short-cycle businesses
Working knowledge of additional languages.
Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
