DESCRIPTION

Amazon is hiring an experienced, innovative, hands-on, customer-centric Sr. Program Manager for its Sortation Center Tech Integration team. We are looking for a team member who is passionate about technology and driven to deliver best-in-class efficient solutions for Amazon's operations and customers.

You will drive / supervise technology integration of tier-1 technical systems that are critical to our Sort Center operations. By virtue of interaction with core systems functioning as the backbone for our supply chain, this role provides a significant opportunity to learn about Amazon's complex technical landscape.


Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with global technology teams to design and rollout new tools and features to meet needs of sort center operations.
· Working closely with OpsTechIT, software engineering, data science, data engineering and research science teams to design and launch new products/ features.
· Work closely with operations customers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and build a roadmap.
· Overseeing implementation of change with partner teams with a close attention to detail and a thorough audit process
· Assess and address technical risks.
· Inventing solutions to simplify and innovate tech systems and their integration
· Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
· Performing data analytics to influence and drive design decisions
· Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
· Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
· Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.





BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g. computer science, engineering)
· Extensive experience in IT Operations / IT Networks
· Extensive experience of Product/Project Management with technical projects
· Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical teams across geographies
· Proficiency in SQL, Advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to work with large volumes of data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous experience in Technology Product Management
· Previous Experience in Operations and Logistics
· Prior Experience in Software Development or Data Science is a bonus
