Role Description:

We are looking for a dedicated, pro-active and experienced Backend developer to join our cloud team in Atos. In this role, we offer you the chance to take ownership of your work in all development phases: coding, testing, deployment, monitoring and bug fixing.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in squad refinements helping to take the right technical decisions.
• Keep the bank’s technology up to date.
• Deliver high quality code.

For this position we need:

• At least 3 years working in a similar role.
• Passion for microservices and events.
• Knowledge about ATDD.
• Design rest and event contracts with OpenAPI.
• CI/CD mindset.
• Zero (0) ties with old banking technologies.
• Spring and Java11 (or at least Java8) knowledge.
• Experience in async microservices platforms, preferably with Kafka.
• Asynchronous mentality is a must.
• Testing lover: unit, integration, acceptance, etc.
• Be able to communicate in English is a must

• Good understanding of how to conduct technical solution assessments.
• Experience with financial services sector, business analysis and banking functional knowledge.
• Great team player: humble, empathy, open mindset.
• Appetite for learning new technologies.
• Ability to listen, good communication skills.

• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
