Head of Supply Management (m/f/d)

We are looking for a likeable, proactive person who is happy to independently take on the varied tasks at our new Rieter Automatic Winder GmbH in Übach-Palenberg.

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the sourcing strategy of the Rieter Automated Winder GmbH
• Lead the sourcing department at Automatic Winder GmbH
• Global category manager for plastic components; lead for all plastic components for Rieter Group
• Set and implement the strategy for the plastic category, perform supplier selection and assessment, conduct negotiations with suppliers and negotiate general contractual terms
• Collaborate closely with local category managers, act as the reference point for the category and provide guidance
• Meet local supply chain targets
• Continuous improvement of all processes, cost reduction
• Contract negotiations with strategic suppliers and partners

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, law, engineering or supply chain
• Minimum 5 years of leading experience, including experience in the area of strategic sourcing
• Strategic, conceptual and independent mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven success in reducing the manufacturing costs of a producing company
• Ability to set priorities
• Fluent in Business English
• Helpful: SAP knowledge
• Deep technical knowledge in molding technology
• General technical affinity especially in the field of plastic components
