Within our CIO domain in Spain we are looking for a Tech Finance Specialist

Your working environment

The Tech Finance Specialist is part of the CIO Office integrated in the CIO domain. Will be reporting to the CIO Office Lead, working closely with the Finance Tech Lead and interaction with IT and Finance Team. The CIO office is a department with clear responsibility of providing an effective way for CIO’s to enhance their management capabilities and address their cross needs in different areas such as Finance, Vendor Management, IT Processes and Reporting.

As Tech Finance Specialist, you will have the mission of supporting tech finance processes, understanding business needs and creating costs awareness always ensuring an accurate financial data and a detailed analysis for strategic cost decisions.

Your key responsibilities:

Perform monthly financial closing activities, including P&L, cash flow and expense analysis and ensuring the accuracy of the actuals.

Facilitate, support and consolidate the budgeting and Forecasting process for Opex and Capex.

Monitor costs and carry out all analyses required to identify risks and opportunities and to propose the appropriate actions

Ensure compliance with financials standards and accounting principles.

Deliver controlling and analysis activities in time and quality, regular ones and also ad hoc from local and global stakeholders.

Support on Business Case construction for new initiatives

Evolution and support of our financial tooling

Align with Vendors Management area in order to track vendor costs.

Manages the coding, processing and approval of purchase orders to properly account for IT spend based on the respective operating expense.

Contribute to the Tech and Finance strategy of the Bank

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree (or above) in finance, accounting or similar majors

At least 3 years working experiences in finance or accounting

Good English and Spanish speaking and writing

Well-developed use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is a must

Financial Acumen, strong analytical skills, detail oriented and business sense.

General Accounting Accepted Principles knowledge

Successful candidates will be autonomous and good team members. They will quickly adapt to work in a fast-paced environment where prioritizing and multitasking are essential
