As a Senior Project Manager are you enthusiastic about being responsible for leading projects, involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs? Acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Leading a medium size multi-site project team by mentoring and motivating the team members
  • Proactively requesting feedback to identify personal development opportunities and takes appropriate action to act.
  • Planning and control projects containing multiple sub-projects and/or 3rd party activities with external dependencies.
  • Handling commercial or activity-based risks.
  • Running handover process of the project outputs that are accepted by the client
  • Adapting to changing circumstances, embracing different roles according to where appropriate to fit with a new (customer) environment.
  • Identifying quick-wins and prioritizes/plans accordingly. Influencing key partners to improve chances of success, as measured by the project critical success factors.
  • Defines project requirements and scope with partners. Negotiating to improve Atos’s commercial position while delivering client value.
  • Communicating clear business cases and adapting existing solutions for new problems
  • Handling consultations the clients on different aspects of the problems to bring structure in sophisticated situations
  • Applying multiple standards and common approach with key partners, to maintain efficiency while meeting standards.
  • Recognizing potential areas of challenges and leading resolution.
  • Facilitating discussion and compromise to establish agreed decisions and actions
  • Leading presentations and workshops with different audiences
  • Handling documentation, impact analysis (cost, margin, schedule, risk, quality, staffing).

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or project management certifications (e.g. PMI or Prince2)
  • 4-6 years of successful experience as an International Project Management in a large-scale organisation or prior (IT related) project experience of leading small to medium sized projects.
  • A consistent track record of delivery within the FS&I sector and awareness of financial regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to demonstrate the financial/cost awareness along with the customer facing and behavioral skills to take ownership for medium size projects.
  • Has an established network of contacts within the local Atos organization and the wider global Atos network or where new to Atos, demonstrates an ability to achieve this quickly.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
