Description of the job :
More than one position has arisen as a Aircraft B1 Technician in Seville.
The jobholder has a direct report to the A400M Retrofit & heavy Maintenance Department.
Work based in San Pablo and normally working on double shift
Task & accountabilities :
The candidate will responsible of the following tasks:
-Execution of modification embodiment or repair working party, managing complex, high value and cross-functional projects compliant with EASA/FAR Part 145 airworthiness regulation.
-Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
-Perform major and complex repair projects
-Performing and certification of both scheduled and unscheduled tasks previously agreed with the customer by Customer Services.
The works included in the scope of this team will mainly consist on planned maintenance, SB coming from modifications not performed at Final Assembly Line or appearing after the delivery of the A/C, and from support asked by the Customer for different kind of repairs or maintenance tasks.
The candidate may be required to manage small groups of non-licensed mechanics in the performance of maintenance activities.
Required skills :
The candidate might have the following competences:
- Mechanical B1.1 competences.
-Experienced working according SSBB and AMM documentation.
-Mechanical and structural repair.
-Bite test, functional test and troubleshooting skills.
-Perform checks , inspections, removal and installation of components, and system adjustment.
-Study technical manuals and engineering drawings.
-Provide assistance to aircraft technicians and mechanics on various tasks.
-Remove and disassemble defective parts of the aircraft.
-Perform final checks on assembly and installation of parts that were replaced.
-Maintain and keep track of all the maintenance records.
-Adhere to company policies and safety programs.
-Previous experience of working in a military environment and on modern civil digital aircraft is desirable. Sufficient experience in order to hold, or be eligible to hold, Category C release approval would be advantageous.
-Spanish and English to a Technical & Aeronautical level.
Personal profile:
- 5+ years of experience in the aeronautical industry (MRO part )
- Field of education: AML B1 (B2 will be a plus)
- Minimum requirements:
• AML without Type Rating or AML with a different Category
- Desirable requirements:
• AML with the same A400M Category and Type Rating
