Your role and work environment:

For that reason, we want to guarantee the total availability of them, building a team pioneer in Spain under the SRE and DEVOPS philosophy where you will be an important team member involved in the most important digital banking transformation.

 

In order to achieve that mission, we are currently looking for an IT Chapter Lead that would be part of an international project, collaborative between different countries, developing in a Cloud & DevOps environment.

 

We work in an Agile & DevOps environment, where Scrum & Kanban are part of our One Agile Way of Working. You would be part of a Scrum Team, working on two-weeks sprints and using Azure as a key-tool for our Software Development Life Cycle and keeping our IT Risk under control.

 

Our goals include taking the needed steps towards more automated and data-driven platforms that will help us in achieving better technical and business outcomes by improving our IT operations through artificial intelligence and machine learning.

 

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

 

As Data Management/Flow IT CL you bring an experienced Data oriented Software Engineer or Feature Engineer background to lead your chapter (from 6 to 10 members) to:

 

  • Support squads in prioritizing and delivering value while ensuring (technical) dependencies are discussed and tuned.
  • Together with Architects you support senior management to make decisions on complex IT innovations or issues.
  • For large programs and complex IT changes you support in making an IT roadmap by functionally describing the situation, you help Squads to deliver the Features.
  • Develop your craftmanship, attend demos, undertake trainings, and share knowledge in your Chapter. You participate in knowledge sharing sessions relevant to your scope.
  • Support team delivery, ensuring that all the milestones from IT roadmaps are achieved.
  • Support teams from a technical and functional prospective and be the point of contact between business and delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with Architecture and Data Management Expert Units (Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Protection) in order to align business requirements and make decisions on Data Modelling & Data Architecture.
  • Create solution approaches on Feature level and contribute on Epic level where multiple Squads and multiple IT assets are involved.
  • Manage the technical dependencies across Squads, Tribes and other global programs.
  • Close follow-up of IT Risk & iRisk linked to the related assets

 

 

What are we looking for?

 

 

 

For us, an IT Chapter Lead is someone who:

 

  • Has more than 5 years’ experience in Data Management and Data Flow (ETL) on SQL, NonSQL and BigDataPlatforms
  • Has technical knowledge & experience in Oracle, ETL, Programing languages, BigDataPlatforms (HDP, CDP, Nifi), Profile, Mumps.
  • Has knowledge & experience in Azure, and other cloud environments.
  • Is an expert in Unix scripting, PL/SQL, Scala, Spark, Mumps (M standard).
  • Experience in AIOps contributing to enhancement of IT operations and business outcomes.
  • Machine Learning frameworks and libraries knowledge.
  • Agile working experience for more than 2-3 years.
  • Has clear communications skills as well as a high English level (written and oral).
  • Is a team player (daily connection with other departments is to be expected).
  • Has the ability to work on an international level.
  • Takes the initiative for improving processes, ensuring creative ideas are implemented.
  • Is a leader of our Orange Code culture, displaying a positive attitude, commitment towards our goals, accountable, eager to learn and is not afraid of change.
