About the team you are joining
Mentored by two senior aviationprofessionals and collaborating with the rest of the IATA team as appropriate, youwill have an opportunity to work on a project to enhance a mobile app thathelps travelers create a digital version of their passport, store and managetheir verified certifications for COVID-19 tests or vaccines and check thatthese meet governmental requirements for their travel itinerary. You will workwith a number of European based airlines, health laboratories that conductCovid19 tests and checks as well as authorities in charge of setting andchecking Covid19 requirements for travelers. You will learn a number of airlineand airport processes, especially around Covid19 health requirements fortravel. You will help run IATA travel pass project with airlines and healthlaboratories from initial contact to project completion and implementation. Youwill manage and run a User group to determine airline priorities, areas forcooperation and common issues.
What your day would be like
You will help set up and run a EuropeanUser Group for IATA Travel Pass (ITP), including:
- Contacting all European airlines currently using the app in trials or commercially contracted, over 20 airlines;
- Organizing and taking minutes of calls/meetings;
- Handling any ad-hoc queries from meeting attendees;
- Working with Regional ITP subject-matter expert (SME) to coordinate User Group outcomes with the central project team who manage the solution;
You will support the regional ITP SME with laboratoryonboarding activities by:
- Contacting laboratories located close to top 100 airports to request they onboard to the lab registry, as well as laboratories located close to airports which are outside the top 100 but on routes of the airlines who are in trials for the app or who have commercially contracted to use ITP;
- Attending initial calls with labs who are interested in entering the lab registry; learn how to run the calls independently;
Following up on calls by contacting the labs with agreement contracts and where necessary further follow up to get agreements returned;
You will provide general ITP support to RegionalITP SME by:
Ensuring any questions from ITP Airline Users are directed to appropriate Project team SMEs and follow up for a timely response;
Attending Airline Trial weekly progress calls either in support of Regional ITP SME or in place of regional ITP SME if needed; and
Working with Regional ITP SME to produce status reports and planned activity for Regional office, Project Team and Commercial team.

Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and analytical;
Team player, able to work harmoniously with colleaguesin a multinational and dynamic environment;
Good communicator, with strong writing andpresentation skills;
Have an excellent command of English; other European languageswould be an asset;
Have strong IT skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word,and Excel).
