Your role and work environment:

 

As an enthusiastic, analytical, and experienced Change Execution Professional, willing to work in a dynamic and complex environment based in Madrid and part of Chief Transformation Office, you will be responsible for the implementation of high profile local and global programmes across ING. Tasks include defining roadmaps, developing and delivering solutions and change steering.

 

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

As a Change Execution Professional you …

 

You will need to consult with stakeholders on programme expectations, requirements and business cases. You will need to operate independently and be able to manage relationships within programme teams and with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organisation.

 

To stay in full control, you will need to manage interactions with related projects and programmes and report progress and impediments to (senior) management.

 

You must take an agile approach to executing change initiatives and work according to the ING Change Execution Practice (project management standards and methodologies).

 

 

What are we looking for?

 

A colleague who knows how to achieve goals in a large complex organisation; you can build and maintain relationships with your stakeholders; you act strategically; and you are able to adapt concepts into tangible execution.

 

A track record in implementing complex programmes is needed, and you will need to know how to solve problems that are impacting the progress of the programme. Specific experience in implementing change in highly regulated environments is a distinct advantage.

 

 

Proven track record and technical skills

 

Strong programme management and problem solving skills;

Demonstrated knowledge of various project and programme management methodologies, with Agile certifications is an advantage;

An eye for detail and an analytical way of thinking, able to work under pressure;

A persistent, open and convincing way of communicating: an ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation, particularly at senior management level;

The ability to persuade people and to turn resistance into cooperation;

Results oriented with an ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting programme challenges;

Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely;

A consulting mind-set, including an ability to think of and discuss structural solutions;

Organisationally sensitive, experience within ING is a pre or consultancy

Management of stakeholders at all relevant levels of the organisation

 

Own a master or bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience.

Have proven experience in complex change and operational environments including driving transformation, performance monitoring and continuous improvement

Be able to tell the story and communicate clearly (written and oral) to various international stakeholders (advanced English is required)

Be able to think in strategic terms, linking current events, business strategy and a long-term vision.

Have strong analytical skills and take decisions based on data and facts.

Have strong problem analysis and judgement skills (recognize key information, problem identification, research, various methods of analysis, establishment of connections, etc.)

Be able to lead complex programs, setting clear roadmaps and solving impediments.

Be a team player, stimulate cross-border interaction and alignment between people, Tribes, Squads, Chapters.

Be curious, passionate about innovation and stay on top of trends and developments within the lending and housing markets.

Are creative and a pro-active out-of-the box thinker who likes to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment.

You give and ask for constructive feedback.
