Guarantee Associate III - German Speaker

Vrbo, an Expedia Group company, is seeking a hardworking EU Guarantee Associate to support the company's growth in Europe!

Reporting to EU Guarantee Manager and closely working with global operational teams, the EU Guarantee Associate will handle the day-to-day operations related to our insurance products and reimbursement claims.

This is a permanent, full-time position which is based in Madrid. Alongside an attractive salary and an outstanding benefits package, we offer regular social gatherings, relaxed dress code and chill-out and lunch areas.

What you'll do:

• Produce reimbursement files and review reimbursement claims to detect any inaccurate, inconsistent or incomplete elements or missing documents

• Reply to emails and other customer’s enquiries related to reimbursement claims

• Handle customer’s escalations

• Operationally coordinate and administrate files, validation of cases and their reimbursement with the global Guarantee team, Legal and Finance

• Perform audit activities related to the decision of various payout support mechanisms for protection products

• Serve as contact point for our Insurance Partner

• Coordinate amendments and update our T&C for our insurance products in collaboration with our Legal team

• Responsibilities will increase and special project assignments will become more sophisticated as training and experience progresses

Who you are:

• You have strong verbal and written communication skills

• You are fluent in German and in English. Any other language is a plus!

• Ideally, you have some expertise in conflict management and initial experience in managing Insurance claims

• You are detail-orientated

• You are a team player and are comfortable working in a matrix organization
