ClosingCorp, a leading provider of residential real estate closing cost data and technologies, is looking for a unique individual to join our team as a National Sales Executive, Data Solutions

ClosingCorp is the premier source of U.S. mortgage closing costs. Our flagship closing services fee quoting and ordering solutions help industry professionals optimize the mortgage closing process. Our data solutions offer a broad range of industry insights including an early look at mortgage application volumes, closing cost trends and various risk insights.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling the company’s data solutions to Title Companies, Lenders, and other strategic and information service based data licensing partners
  • Responsible for the development of new business opportunities in these emerging verticals by leveraging existing strong business relationships
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers & performs follow-up tasks with potential customers by telephone, e-mail and on-site visits as necessary to qualify leads and sell complex data solutions
  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained
  • Develops new business relationships, works closely with new customers to better understand and meet their individual needs and requirements
  • Successfully delivers revenue on complex consultative data solution sales
  • Maintains timely and accurate entry of opportunity progress, contacts, pricing, and sales activities for new customer data and other sales data for current customers in into Salesforce.com.
  • Identifies potential customer problems and makes recommendations to prevent problems with deliveries or other issues
  • Demonstrates ability to serve as subject matter expert
  • Creates formal networks that may involve coordination among groups
  • Achieves all revenue targets & objectives in line with the assignment
  • Reports business trends and an accurate forecast of new bookings to the EVP, Sales and Chief Data Officer
  • Develops & maintains successful business relationships with all prospects
  • Attends user group meetings and industry conferences
  • Negotiates the agreement terms effectively to successfully close sales
  • Required Experience and Skills:

  • College degree required. BS in Computer Science, Data Science or Finance preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of consultative sales and structured data licensing contracts
  • Strong network within capital markets, government or information services including C level relationships within our target market
  • 10+ years of residential lending technology sales experience and successful quota attainment
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, and able to work well individually and within a team atmosphere
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word, MS Office & Excel; experience with SalesForce.com or equivalent is a plus
  • Possess great people skills and experience in calling cold, warm and hot leads
  • Strong negotiation skills to deal with different kinds of customers
  • Tenacious work attitude with strong determination to win the deal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible to work with negligible supervision
  • Excellent problem solving and organization skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time
