MuleSoft is looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our talented Training & Certification team to strengthen the impact of our data and the consumption of it in our organisation, cross-functionally and for our customers and partners.
In this role, you will help us make the Training & Certification data available cross-functionally by positioning how it can influence business outcomes. You will collaborate with Data Engineers and Sr. Business Analysts and co-own Training & Certification Data Models.
Your expertise in data architecture and business outcomes will be key to understand the impact of the different data scenarios. You will evaluate new and existing data requirements, own and support the completion of those requirements and provide executive summaries of the results.
You will collaborate closely with the Head of Global Data Strategy at MuleSoft Training & Certification to support the design and execution of the strategy and the delivery of the outcomes.
What you’ll achieve:
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Monitor and report on how Training & Certification Data is being used and what business outcomes are driving.
Identify opportunities to use Training & Certification Data to drive business outcomes by working with leaders within our team and cross-functionally with other data owners and stakeholders.
Design and implement a security architecture that will be robust and scalable for future needs
Drive adoption of Training & Certification data and reporting in the team and cross-functionally.
Enable MuleSoft teams on the business value of Training & Certification based on data analysis.
Establish best practices and standardise data across the Training & Certification team.
Recommend and influence the Data Strategy for Training & Certification to maximise performance.
Recommend and implement solutions to improve the quality of the Training & Certification data.
Establish governance in Training & Certification data.
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

Research and properly evaluate sources of information to understand and define possible limitations in reliability or usability
What you’ll need to be successful:
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Lead
Experience gathering and analyzing data requirements
Understanding of predictive analysis and data visualization techniques.
Hands-on experience with SQL and Integration Tools
Strong knowledge of database structures and data mining.
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
Problem solver attitude
Experience working with private and sensitive personal information
Considerate in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
Experience in visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlik or Power BI or equivalent
