Information Systems Architect, Workpath Customization GTM Operational Lead en Sant Cugat del Vallès

We host 12 businesses and are the worldwide HQ of the 3D Printing and the Large Format​ Printing businesses and the EMEA HQ for the Graphics Solutions Business. We also have the largest HP R&D Lab outside of the US and a fantastic Demo center. This role applies to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

About you:

• You are a customer-centric technical solutions consultant or business process architect, who understands workflow, our enterprise print offerings and the Workpath ecosystem.

• You area clear technical communicator and comfortable in customer facing presentations, client needs analysis workshops and proof of concept demonstrations.

• You have a sound understanding in project management and software-life-cycle development and the connection between software design and business plans and return on investment – both for the client and HP.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with the Market Principal Leads from the Enterprise Solutions Consulting team, you will manage the operationalisation of Workpath Customizations for our dMPS clients. 

• You will be supporting the deal teams, pursuit organisation and Lead Architects, applying knowledge of business process and workflow solutions, Android Studio App development and Agile Project management, to see the app customizations from needs analysis and customer requirement specification through development and into production.

• You will be responsible for the operational project management of the HP Workpath Customization opportunities that will be lead by the senior Enterprise Solutions Architects within the team and provide support, technical expertise, HP internal and external developer context and communication to drive successful customizations of HP Workpath apps.

• You will also be a new member of the Enterprise Solutions Consulting Team and as an Information Systems Architect work with the GBU in the capacity of providing technical presales and e2e technical life-support to our biggest dMPS clients.

Requirements:

• Great technical communication skills and a consultative approach to business problem solving using our new HP Workpath App Ecosystem

• Capturing the client’s business needs and converting them into successful app customizations is more important than hands-on programming skills in the Android Studio IDE, however, a strong background in software development, cloud infrastructure and business process management are ideal

• This is a new role and a growth mindset is critical since the development of customizations for our clients requires design thinking, curiosity, innovation and strategic thinking.

• Combined with the ability to break down complex problems and apply design thinking organisational skills, good priority management and project management (ideally Agile Project Methodology) will be an advantage in liaising with the internal and external developer teams.
