3D Printing Application Development Internship en Madrid

HP 3D printing products have opened new markets, especially in the introduction of 3D printed parts in final products. These 3D final parts have opened a broad number of potential applications that could be fulfilled with HP products.

The selected candidate will be working on a team which objective is to understand the requirements of new applications, the potential business opportunities and speed up the implementation of 3D printing in customers’ products and processes. The role also includes frequent contact with startups that are trying to disrupt industries, customers and the sales team as well as collaboration with other HP international locations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse startup funnel and help the team prioritize

  • Engagements/follow up with startups

  • Document learnings

  • Help validate value proposition and define potential HP technology differentiation

  • Help build economic/financial scenarios for potential new businesses

  • Prepare early prototypes of new ideas with designs

  • 3D parts re-design and 3D jobs preparation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor grade's or Master's student in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Design. Mechanical specialization preferred. The student should be studying at least the 4th year of the bachelor’s grade.

  • Education/Interest on entrepreneurship and business will be highly valued.

About you:

  • Experience with product design with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software (Rhino, CREO, etc) as design tool.

  • Fluent English

  • Presentation and communication skills

  • Business models understanding

  • Willingness to change the world

  • Proactivity

  • Strong team worker

  • Experience with 3D printing software, such as Magics or Netfabb welcomed

  • Experience with Ansys or any Finite Element Analysis software welcomed

  • Flexible schedule for part time (4h/day) or full time (8h/day) for a 6 to12 months agreement (the minimum period agreement is 6 months both in Madrid and Barcelona)
