Lead Business Developer with Dutch ( 6 months FTC) en Barcelona

Key accountabilities

The Lead Business Developer is responsible for enabling and growing Colt market presence in his/her assigned territory and target market.


The Lead Business Developer will be responsible for cultivating a healthy leads pipeline including generating demand and scheduling meetings for the Colt sales organisation. His responsibilities include the followings:

  • Qualifying and identifying the key decision-makers, influencers and sponsors in the prospect’s organization
  • Capturing all necessary contact’s information, name, title, phone, email etc.
  • Qualifying the prospect and affiliated companies
  • Determining the prospect's decision/buying process
  • Handling effective outbound calls to build up a healthy pipeline of leads and deliver consistent results
  • Ensuring accuracy of sales databases by logging all mandatory and optional data in the correct manner in our internal software systems
  • Building a trusted relationship and teaming with the Sales stakeholders
  • Following-up the good progress of the delivered lead/opportunity with the Sales stakeholders
  • Other accountabilities (optional)

  • Other language is a plus
  • Key performance indicators (financial and non-financial)

  • Hunting experience
  • High energy and results driven sales professionals that can conduct telemarketing/sales calls
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Tech-savvy with a passion for technology with experience in a Telco will be desirable
  • Dutch or Flemish native + any other European language (English preferably) .
  • Ability to learn quickly and maintain a current, comprehensive knowledge of client's products and services
  • Strong individual contributor as well as a team player
  • Good self-motivator, tenacious and persuasive
  • Team player with a positive attitude (an optimist)
  • Understand how our customers are organized in order to identify the right contact person.
