We are actively preparing the future by stepping up our ongoing industrial investment in solar energy, and offering end-to-end energy solutions.
To build a strong position in Spain, we are looking for an EPC Manager, skilled in PV .
Main responsabilities :
During pre-construction stage:
Drafting and negotiating all technical aspects of the EPC/BOS contracts and main equipment supply agreements (modules, inverters, trackers, mounting structures, etc.);
Working in close coordination with the Grid Connection Manager to ensure a smooth interface between the PV Plant and the grid connection infrastructure;
Development and continuous improvement of technical specifications by implementation of lessons learned;
Elaboration of technical documents for RFP processes, coordination of the clarification with bidders, review of technical proposals;
Identification and selection of technical services providers through competitive RFP processes;
In coordination with the technical development team:
Liaison with lender technical advisors during the project finance structuring process;
Review of conceptual designs developed by third parties;
Technology assessment and OEM evaluation;
Energy Yield Assessments (EYA);
LCOE analysis and optimization;
CAPEX and OPEX modelling;
Conduct feasibility studies and due diligences of new projects under development stage;
During construction stage:
Leads the design review (with the support of Owner´s Engineer) of the engineering package prepared by EPC/BOS Contractor;
Ensures compliance with applicable codes, norms and regulations;
Ensures standardization of all critical technical decision across Total Solar Iberia pipeline;
Acts as main technical interface with Lender Technical Advisor;
Acts as main interface with Owner´s Engineer during engineering stage;
Supports construction team in the resolution of potential technical disputes;
Keeps the Lessons Learned register updated;
Closure of as-built engineering package before handover to O&M team;
** A previous experience in instalaciones fotovoltaicas es mandatory **
Candidate profile
Senior engineer with at least seven (7) years of experience within the solar PV industry working for an EPC Contractor, BOS Contractor or well-known IPP/Project Developer;
Strong technical and commercial background within the solar PV Industry.
Specific experience working during pre-construction stage in: design and cost optimization, CAPEX and OPEX modeling, EPC/BOP RFP processes structuring and coordination, main equipment RFP processes structuring and negotiation, contract management.
Process driven individual with strong project management, communication, reporting and organizational skills;
Fluent in Spanish and English; Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is desirable but not a must;
High commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
Highly self-motivated, with strong initiative and creative thinking;
Ability to work individually and as a team;
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned country/region as required.
