CorTech is currently looking for General Operators in the Toledo, OH area for one of the world's largest automotive suppliers. As a General Operator, you will work together as a team to complete the emissions systems required for the supply chain. Each of these openings has the potential to turn into a full-time permanent position with this automotive supplier. Also as an added bonus, they are pulling from the General Operator crews people who want to learn how to be a MIG Welder in their MIG Welding training program. Competitive Temporary Rate:$14.00 per hour and paid weekly on Fridays Requirements:-Job involves lifting and carrying 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, exerts 25 to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and exerts 10 to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.-Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, gripping and bending as well as considerable twisting.-High mental and visual efforts required.-Ability to work night shifts maybe required Willing to work overtime when required - up to 12 hours a day/7 days a week. All Applicant Requirements:•Manufacturing experience preferred•Drug Screen and Background Check required•Proof of High School Diploma/GED•Ability to lift up to 50lbs (full exhaust assemblies)•Able to pass preliminary pre-placement testing Uniform Requirements:•Jeans or Work Pants•Plain white shirts•Steel toe shoes or boots
