Inside Sales Representative for selling company microplate products to end-user customers in assigned territory (EMEAI), based in our Barcelona, Spain.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for selling company microplate products to end-user customers in assigned territory (EMEAI), industry, or accounts, primarily through outbound and inbound telephone sales activities. Acts as part of a sales team for microplates business in EMEAI. Carries team or individual quota. Works on inside sales assignments with clearly defined objectives Responsible for closing the sale on microplate products. Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities. Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization
Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent. Typically 2+ years relevant experience in inside sales or sales for entry to this level. Requires general proficiency with tools, systems and procedures to accomplish job. Desirable Skills/ Experience: Very comfortable in a team environment and working towards a team goal. Knowledge of microplates market a distinct advantage but not essential. Experience in scientific laboratories and workflows involving automation or microplates a distinct advantage but not essential. Experience with SAP a distinct advantage but not essential. The role covers all of EMEAI so multi lingual skills also a distinct advantage but not essential, English being the main language for customer interactions. Demonstrated ability to grow an existing business a key advantage. Demonstrated innovation around new product promotion and new business generation a key advantage.
