Leading multinational, based in Mallorca is willing to recruit a Purchasing Manager with previous experience in the Rent a Car Industry.
Reporting to the Procurement Director, your main functions will be:
Guarantee local savings and quality objectives Development and analysis of the supplier portfolio in Spain such as Rent a Car companies, Large Dealers and Others. Implement and supervise global and local sourcing strategies. Prepare sourcing plans for local categories based on the analysis of the supply market and cost models. Provide the organization with the appropriate fleet. Negotiation of prices and discounts offered by national manufacturers. Optimize prices and discounts of current suppliers. Identification and execution of reverse auctions in the corresponding categories. Development of a portfolio of dealing providers outside of Spain. Prepare company expense reports. Price analysis by brand. Ensure saving objectives by category. Development and supervision of the different stakeholders that can participate in the procurement process, seeking to generate synergies that can exceed the established objectives. Requirement:
Business Management Degree or similar. MBA will be a plus At least 5-8 years of experience in procurement, 2 years in the Rent a Car industry as a Procurement Manager within a global company Very high level of English
